Counselling provides the opportunity to talk through your difficulties. Your therapist will provide a safe and confidential space to help you to describe the problems you are experiencing in your life and find ways to manage these.
This yoga practice uses principles of Hatha yoga. You will perform asanas (poses) at a slower pace to allow you to be mindful of your breath and bodily experiences. By following your movements with curiosity you may notice habitual tendencies and areas of ease and/or areas of resistance.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapeutic approach designed to help you to heal from trauma. This method was initially created by Francine Shapiro in the 1980s. EMDR will encourage and support you to recall distressing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements. This process aims to alleviate trauma-related distress and promotes better emotional regulation. EMDR has proven effective for conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and depression, often resulting in substantial symptom relief and improved overall well-being.
